As Chairman of the KBRSF, it is a great honor for me to welcome you all for the first time in this role to CPEDI Waregem 2026.
This international event continues, year after year, to be a unique meeting place where sport, passion, and perseverance come together. This year, we are proud to welcome athletes from 10 countries. Together, they will create a weekend filled with sporting excellence and international connection.
I am particularly impressed by the dedication and level that characterize this discipline. Para dressage is more than just elite sport: it is a powerful story of cooperation, trust, and overcoming boundaries. The unique bond between rider and horse is, time and again, a source of inspiration for everyone who experiences it.
The Royal Belgian Equestrian Federation is therefore proud to support an event of this level. CPEDI Waregem provides athletes with a valuable international platform and contributes to the further development and visibility of para dressage, both in our country and beyond.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all participants, whose commitment and passion form the heart of this competition. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and partners. In particular, I wish to thank Anne d’Ieteren for her many years of dedication and inspiration in organizing this event. Without this commitment and hard work, none of this would be possible.
I look forward to experiencing this special competition together with you and am confident that this weekend will once again showcase sporting highlights and inspiring moments.
