Dear riders, owners, supporters and friends,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Sport Vlaanderen facilities in Waregem for this new edition of our international para-dressage competition.
This year is particularly meaningful for our club as we celebrate 45 years of Quadrille and 30 years of commitment to para-equestrian competitions. These milestones reflect a strong vision, driven from the very beginning by Anne d’Ieteren, and a long-standing dedication to inclusive sport.
Today, our CPEDI**** competition has become a reference in Belgium and internationally. Year after year, it brings together top-level riders from across the world, making Waregem a key destination for para-dressage.
For this 2026 edition, we are delighted to welcome 50 riders, representing 64 combinations and 11 nations. The presence of new talents, including two new Belgian riders, highlights the continued growth and vitality of our sport.
Para dressage uniquely illustrates the relationship between horse and rider, built on trust, precision and communication. Over the coming days, you will witness outstanding performances that truly showcase the beauty and strength of this discipline.
We also look to the future. It is essential for us to continue encouraging participation at all levels, and in particular to support the development of Grade I riders, ensuring that our sport becomes ever more inclusive.
Such an event would not be possible without the support of many partners. I would like to warmly thank our sponsors, institutions, the City of Waregem, and all volunteers whose dedication makes this competition possible.
Finally, I would like to wish all riders and their teams the very best and thank the audience for their presence and support.
I wish you all a wonderful competition filled with sport, emotion and shared moments.
Bruno Bouckaert
President Quadrille
